Dear fellow Rotarians,
In December 1992,I sent you an “early warning” about the 1993 Meeting of the EUROTARY 87 which was instituted by 11 European Rotary Clubs started in 1987 and meeting in September 1992 at Gordes, France. The purpose of EUROTARY 87 is to attain several of the aims of Rotary: to establish ties of friendship between Rotarians from all regions of Europe thereby contributing to better understanding between countries.
On behalf of the Kolbäck Rotary Club, Sweden, I am proud to invite representatives of your Rotary Club to the second Annual Meeting on September 3-5, 1993, including the 1993 Annual Meeting of EUROTARY 87 on Sunday, September 5, at 10.00 AM, in Kolbäck, Sweden. Kolbäck, in the municipality of Hallstahammar and 20 kilometres from Västerås by Lake Mälaren, has a number of attiactions, such as the Royal Castle of Strömsholm with traditions of horsemanship since the 16th century and the beautiful Strömsholm Canal. We are planning for a varied programme, which will make you acquainted with a wide array of aspects on life in Sweden. For the EUROTARY 87 Meeting we aim at accomodationby way of homestay.
I enclose two copies of a registration form, which we want returned back with us not later than May 15, 1993, to
